The temple which is more than 260 years old recently came into the spotlight after gold coins and precious stones worth 500 billion rupees (USD 11.2 billion) were found in its vaults. Five vaults of the temple were opened yielding enormous quantities of gold and silver jewelery, coins and precious stones.
