The Elephant Response Unit (ERU) Their work not only helps ease human-elephant conflict but also helps protect Way Kambas National Park from its illegal activities and ensures the survival of the Sumatran elephant population today. With three monitoring posts in Bungur, Tegal Yoso, and Mraghayu ERU areas conduct regular monitoring patrols inside and along the National Park dormitory.
