April 25, 2017 - Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India - Mehraj-u-Alam was celebrated in Kashmir, which marks ascension day, the journey from Heaven to Earth of the Prophet Mohammed, at the Hazratbal Shrine in the outskirts of Srinagar, India. Hundreds of Muslims from different parts of Kashmir visit the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar to pay obeisance on the Mehraj-ul-Alam.
