September 11, 2017 - Brevard County, Florida, U.S. - With tropical force gusts of winds still blowing PHILLIP ELZAS, 49, picks up the life preserver of the boat ''Easy Life,'' a trawler that sunk at Sundance Marine after Hurricane Irma blew through Brevard County. Elzas stayed with his sailboat most of the night, but left when the weather got rough. Eight boats had sunk and many damaged.
