August 2, 2017 - inconnu - A stunning Lamborghini Diablo sports car featured in funk soul band Jamiroquaiâ€™s hit single, Cosmic Girl, is up for grabs atr more than half a million poundsThe viola-metallic coloured Italian-made classic â€“ priced at Â£549,995 GBP / â‚¬ 615.000 Euros / $726,500 USD was one of only 16 right-hand-drive models built.It was one of two identical cars that featured in the 1996 music video driven by band singer and avid car collector Jay Kay.The first was written-off following a crash on the video set and had to be replaced. The car for sale replaced the damaged Diablo, but also had an unfortunate incident of its own. DDuring the filming a precision camera fell from a height, knocking out the carâ€™s windscreen, but Jay Kay , who personally owned the vehicle, decided to drive the car for the remainder of the filming without any front windscreen protection.The car ios now being sold on UK website Auto Trader.Auto Trader Carâ€™s Editor, Andy Pringle, said, â€œYouâ€™ll often find rare, exotic and famous cars on Auto Trader, but itâ€™s not every day youâ€™ll find one from hyperspace.â€œOne of three classic supercars used in the Cosmic Girl video - itâ€™s the only one Jay Kay, known as the â€˜Space Cowboyâ€™ actually owned .â€œ So although it might price-out most music fans at over half a million pounds - there could be a love affair reunited on the cards if Jay Kayâ€™s browsing Auto Trader.â€It is being sold through Amari Supercars based in Preston, Lancashire , i9n the UK.The dealer is selling the car through Auto Trader and claims to be the only car dealership to have owned the car, having been the first to sell the car to Jamiroquai in 1996.
