The longest festival of Nepal, Rato Machindranath Festival continues by pulling the chariot from Thursday, April 19, 2018 onwards from Pulchowk. Rato Machindranath is also said as the 'god of rain' and both Hindus and Buddhists worship the Machindranath in hope of good rain to prevent drought during the rice plantation season.
