Opened in 1997, the par-72 course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, plays at 7,472 yards (6,832 m) and its average elevation is 5,600 feet (1,710 m) above sea level...The Montrux Golf and Country Club is located midway between Reno and Lake Tahoe...The tournament champion, Andrew Putnam, received a check in the amount of $612,000.
